Of course the album has been remastered and is repackaged with extensive new liner notes. Long-considered by those in the know to as exciting an album as any released by Birdman, 'The Visitors' first saw release in the mid-80s on Citadel, half a decade after the shortlived band had split. (Four of the tracks had previously been released as a 12" EP on Phantom - that record is now worth a fortune). It's only previous appearance on CD was briefly on Red Eye in '96, when it was overshadowed by the same label's reissue of the Birdman catalogue and Birdman's own reformation. For the last decade, all that's been available are a few tracks on best-selling comp's like 'Do The Pop!' and 'Tales of The Australian Underground'.
